The arsenal of malware targeting Android gadgets has grown exponentially, with criminals hiding viruses in people download applications to devices, according to Juniper Networks.

Apple, on the other hand, is known for tight screening applications before making them available in the App Store for downloading iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
"There is still no pre-review process in the official market of Android, which also offers a hint of defiance in the authors of malware that malicious coding their investments will be zero," said Juniper.
